Carolyn is a delight to work with. From half a world away, she intuitively executed a vision I had for my fall collection. Her work is full of gorgeous mood, a bit of whimsy and showcases the product to its full advantage. Her turnaround time was exceptional and she communicated with me at every turn. I can’t wait to work with her again!

Fantastic Experience from start to Finish!…. I have wanted a family portrait for a lot of years but nothing ever jumped out at me, I like unique, everything out there seemed so run of the mill. Then I met Carolyn and was introduced to her work…. I was in awe and knew it was exactly what I was looking for. We met for a consultation and from start to finish, it was about me, and what I wanted and how I felt, with Carolyn providing fantastic guidance and advice along the way. The day itself was a memorable , enjoyable family day we will never forget. Carolyn has amazing skills not only with the camera but with people of all ages and backgrounds, which make the end result a perfect piece of art that reflects people at there utmost best….. Not only was Carolyn a delight to work with – she was so easy! but her ability to capture the intangible ‘essence’ of Scilly through photography was nothing short of outstanding

 

Aaah, where to begin. I have often and still do fiercely recommend this lovely lady to all who will listen.
Carolyn took photographs of my girls last year, and I can only say, with gusto, that everything about Carolyn bespoke is hugely first class. Excellent location, we decided on the moors. To which the autumn flowering heather complements my living area so well. Then the shoot itself. Both girls had a ball with Carolyn. Props and all!!! I have told Carolyn this before and it seems understated, but when I look at my beautiful, unique artwork. It makes me SMILE. I often call this woman a photography magician, as when you open up the beautiful specially wrapped product at the end it’s just magic.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the easy selection process of picking prints/ products, no pushy sales patter, just a informal, happy experience all round. Roll on the snow, so we can do it all again.

As a first-time Granny, I can’t thank Carolyn enough for the stunning pictures of daughter, Jess, with my beautiful grand-daughter, Daisy. The care taken in selecting a back-drop to suit the sunny nature of Jess, and the floral link to Daisy’s name was absolutely perfect and we will treasure the portraits for many years to come: they can be our heirlooms of the future.

Carolyn provided images that exceeded our expectations. She is highly intuitive and creative whilst understanding her clients’ needs. We’ll be using her again!

 

We were never going to be ‘model’ clients, we both had a fear and loathing of being photographed, worse still one of us was a photographer!

 

For our plan and beautiful low-key wedding to work, we needed a very special photographer and there was only one person for the job, Carolyn Mendelsohn. We ran away to Whitby for the most romantic of elopements, two brides, two best men and Carolyn!

Not only did we want our most special of days documenting, more demanding yet, we wanted photographic evidence that we’d tied the knot, to display to our family and friends at a party to be held the next day.

The photographs speak for themselves, they tell the story of two people being ridiculously in love, two cheeky and wonderful best men and the most perfect wedding a couple could wish for. What the photographs don’t tell you is just how anxious of being photographed we initially were, and it is down to Carolyn’s infectious personality and sheer professionalism that she extracted the very best from us. She was prepared to travel for a pre-shoot the night before and didn’t stop working until we were astonished to find the most magical images uploaded and ready to go the very same day.

When we arrived for our family & friends ‘after party’, the first thing every guest said to us wasn’t congratulations, it was ‘wow, the photographs were amazing’ and quite right too!!!

We’re not just saying it, but Carolyn made the most beautiful memories for us.
